Hyland OnBase Office Add-In by Hyland Software is an integration that connects Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to your OnBase content services platform. From the familiar Office ribbon, users can save new or updated documents directly to OnBase; assign document types and keywords; check documents in and out; view version history; and route content into OnBase workflow—without leaving the Office application. The add-in also enables searching and retrieving repository content, opening files for review or editing while preserving metadata, permissions, and audit trails governed by OnBase.
By keeping documents in a single system of record while people work in the tools they use every day, the add-in reduces duplicate files, strengthens compliance, and accelerates collaboration.
